Scenes from a New Zealand city

Many countries are known for their cities. London, Beijing, New York. New Zealand was put on the map by its  stunning scenery and Peter Jackson’s usage of it in his movies. (Side note: I ran into Peter Jackson in a kebab shop last week!) Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand, is a lovable place with a vibe that many other places here in NZ seem to lack. There’s a buzz, people living with a sense of purpose and contentment. There’s government, history and culture! Even the city itself seems to have a sense of humor. It’s fun, hilarious and, best of all, it’s livable. And, for a city, there sure is some sweet stuff to look at.

    • I had a couple choices of where I wanted to go next and everybody I spoke to recommended Wellington. It’s lived up to its reputation! I love it here. You’ll get another chance sometime, I’m sure.

  3. That’s pretty cool. I haven’t been to Wellington in years. I’d love to go back for another visit.
